Tube & fitting scaffolding range

We offer an extensive range of scaffold tube, fittings and boards, and accessories capable of following the most complex building and plant profiles, fitting into awkward spaces and accommodating changing requirements. We can make a system adaptable for almost any access application.

Tube is available in aluminium, galvanised and black steel material. Both pressed and drop forged fittings are available and all scaffold boards conform to British standards.

All double fittings, the critical load-bearing fitting, are drop forged. Since the introduction of the new standard, all fittings purchased are to EN74 class B. These fittings have a 50% greater design capacity compared to cheaper pressed steel fittings.

Brand Access Solutions has made an investment in quality fittings, it is a tangible sign of our commitment to safety.

Brand Access Solutions have heavily invested in 3.2mm high yield scaffolding tube.

The benefits of this investment have been:

• A yield strength of 355N/mm2 as opposed to traditional 4mm tube which has 235N/mm2
• 25% lighter tube – the traditional 21’ scaffold tube weighs 28kg whereas a Brand Access Solutions tube is 21kg – this significantly enhances safety as scaffolders get less tired and are less likely to make mistakes
• Lighter scaffolds, which impose less load on structures. Stronger tube means that Brand Access Solutions can design slimmer structures

Brand Access Solutions independently tests every batch of tube that it purchases to ensure that it meets the quality criteria it sets.

Traditional tube and fitting has many benefits over system scaffolds, in particular its endless adaptability.

Brand Access Solutions braceless scaffold allows clear access for all trades to work efficiently & we can erect large, high rise scaffolds with this braceless access system.

Tube and fitting is uniquely able to meet the bespoke requirements of customers as:

• Tie patterns can be designed to give the optimum solution

Ledger bracing does however reduce the utility of tube and fitting scaffolds for some users.

Readylock fixed transom

Brand Access Solutions have taken on the readylock fixed transom unit and developed its uses. The readylock means that all the benefits of tube and fittings adaptability can be married to the advantages of system. The result is an endlessly bespoke scaffold which can be built without ledger bracing.

We have taken the necessary steps by using built and tested full scale scaffolds along with mechanical and independent tests to ensure we are able to continue to safely use readylock scaffolds and fully comply with the Working at Height Regulations and all the HSE requirements.

In addition we have mixed the readylock transom with the lynx transom resulting in a scaffold which is braceless, bespoke and easily adaptable.

The adjustable transom is a board-bearing component which Brand Access Solutions developed to significantly enhance the efficiency of alterations and meet the challenge of fast track modular construction projects. The adjustable transom and our methodology offers the ability to:

• Erect a full height braceless scaffold and make rapid, safe and efficient alterations to the scaffolds
• Allow many trades to work on the scaffold with minimum numbers of alterations
• Allow different trades to work on the same elevation as inside boards can be easily added and removed

The adjustable inside board bearer allows boards to be removed without altering the main body of the scaffold. On sheeted scaffolds this greatly enhances the aesthetic appearance, as it does not result in tubes poking through sheeting.
