Depending upon the required capacity, the cage will be fitted with the two or three VFC frequency controlled motors or two direct online motors which drive the system through high efficiency gearboxes.
The Scando 650 operates at higher speeds starting from 42m/min, quicker than previous Alimak Passenger Goods Construction Hoists and provides more hoist power, while using as much as 40% less power than the previous Scando models. A modern control system with keypad in the cage and call buttons at the landings makes the hoist easy to operate and with the modern technology the Scando 650 range brings, the hoist will stop at the same point at each desired landing each time. A multiple choice of cage configurations and different size landing doors are available.
