The Isaac Newton Academy, Essex | Hoists

Brand Access Solutions have constructed a 14.5m high 650 20/32 Passenger Goods hoist within the atrium of the new school complex at the Isaac Newton Academy.

Scope

The hoist was installed and subsequently removed by mobile crane through the roof opening after being on site for 26 weeks. Special ties were manufactured and used by Brand Access Solutions for this project due to the restricted nature of the atrium location. Skanska Construction Manager, Param .T, commented “ I was delighted with the reliability of this hoist and the service back-up provided by Brand Access Solutions”.
